Frequently Asked Questions

As long as you place an order the night before, we can fulfill an order with any of the items on our website the following day. For those who like to plan ahead, you can place an order up to 2 months in advance. For same day orders, we recommend calling the store and checking if they have time to prepare another cake for later in the day. We have a limited selection of signature cakes available each day in our display case.

Signature and mini cake orders can be placed over the phone and be paid when picked up. However, Designer cakes must be preordered online before pick up.

We will not be taking Custom cake orders at this time.

With the exception of the Strawberry Shortcake, all the Signature cakes and mini cakes are mousse cakes with a piece of chiffon on the bottom. Designer cakes are built with whipped cream and 3 pieces of chiffon.

We usually write on a white chocolate plaque that is about 2" wide by 1" tall and would recommend a message be at most 5 words long if being placed on a cake. If you need a longer message, we could write it on the cake board or on a generic paper card and attach it on the outside of the packaging.

We are also able to write Asian characters.

We do not use peanuts in our bakery, however we do use hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds and walnuts in our kitchen. While we do our best to keep ingredients and cakes separate we can not 100% guarantee a nut free environment. Please leave a message about allergies should there be a concern.

Unfortunately, none of our cakes are vegan. We use dairy or eggs in all items.

Yes, we use gelatin in all our cakes. We can only take it out of the Strawberry Shortcake and Designer cakes. You would need to request this in advance.

Our macarons do not contain gelatin.

Our cakes should be stored in the refrigerator. They can be left at room temperature for 30 minutes before consumption.

As our cakes are delicate, it would not be recommended to keep in a hot area or out on a hot day.

If you are traveling long distance such as more than half an hour with our cake, we would recommend you place it in a cooler with some ice. We can also provide a small bag of ice for a small fee to help but it is not a guarantee and would still recommend your vehicle be air conditioned as well to keep it in a cool environment.

Our cakes are best eaten within 2-3 days of purchase as long as they are stored in the refrigerator.

Our Macarons stay fresh 6 hours at room temperature, 1 day in the fridge, or 1 week in the freezer. Please keep in a sealed container for optimal texture.

Many of our cakes must first be frozen before they can be taken out of their respective molds or cake rings or removed from the decorating area. We try our best to thaw them before your arrival. We will let you know if it needs more time.

We are opened on all holidays but may close early at 6pm.

Afternoon Tea is currently discontinued. We are working on a new menu but don't have a definite return date yet.

Unfortunately, we do not hold reservations. Our tables are for walk-in customers on a first come first serve basis. On busy days, there is a 2 hour seating limit.

We accept cash, debit, credit, and OTT pay at the store.
Our online store accepts credit card.

We use a 3rd party delivery service for our online orders. Please enter your postal code at the top of the page to see if we deliver to your area. As the delivery fee may be different for each address and date, it is best to check for your specific circumstance.
